I don't know if anyone reads this. I don't post many journals. Just figured since my last journal involved the upcoming of a my last film, Pinkwater, I should go on to say what happened and what's happening.

Thanks first off to Burlapzack, Angelcurls, and Mypaperairplane on here for the creative influcences you have grouned in me. Also thanks to TommyNoker for his great industrial art which has been going well for some time now.

With that said, Pinkwater wasn't such a hit lol. We got one scene filmed and then my main actor and co-creator got sick and lost his voice. Oh well. It happened and I let myself down, but things go on and hopefully one day, I'll really shoot that film.

Right now, I'm currently working on a period piece .

In the early 1980's. Not much of a stretch in time, but I like the eighties...this film is going to be my vision of that great decade of decadence and dance.

Since I was born in 1986, I only really got to experience three good years of the time-being, and that was at a very young age. That being true, this film we'll ultimately be largely mythological - made up - my take on things. As some might know, that could get a little screwy.

In short, the film is going to about the loss of innocence and the arrival of redemption. It's a story of youth in New Orleans, close friends: an art career-seeking couple coming in from out of town, a young girl abandoned by her father, and a rich arrogant son, whose penthouse the group shacks up in for the film.

Thru it's duration, I hope to tell a story of loss through excess, gain through humility, and hope through grace.

The plot and themes mainly focus around the small characters: Wynd, a runaway boy on the streets; Belle, the abandoned innocent, and Mary, the imaculate vagrant mother.

Through their plight, and the main characters chance to help shed some compassion for their fellows, I hope so reveal some truth of humanity:
Our tendencies, our faults, our guilts, our efforts, and our compassion for others.

I think I could really help you obsolve the mood for the film by claiming my intentions Spiritual at least. Though I'm just here to tell stories, I hope that in view of my efforts, someone might be blessed.
